"Mahesh lunch home is famous for its exotic sea food menu for decades. I and my cousin decided to visit this place recommended by my uncle(who used to visit the place when he was of our age!!!!)... The place is quite small from the outside but the ambience inside is awesome .The place is dimly lit with LED focus lamps providing adequate light for dining. We ordered prawns lady finger it was crispy , tandori smoked flavour well blended. Surmai fry was delicious but the best in the menu was pomfret balti!!!! It consists of soft , very well cooked pomfret pieces in manglorian gravy- a perfect blend of sour and spice. Prawns fried rice comes with egg content along with prawns. The overall food quality is excellent . The service is excellent and the staff is very polite, friendly and responsive. However I found this place underrated by many probably because of its name and a point to be noted is that it would cost around 2000 rs for 2 (without alcohol) but it is a must visit place for every sea food lover. Truly value for money. "
